A Dutch brooch, pin featuring two heraldic lions supporting a crowned coat of arms bearing a third lion. The badge is die-struck in thin tombac and displays sharp detail throughout.
It was acquired as a Dutch mobilization badge dating to the period of the Second World War.
At some point, the piece was converted for wear as a pin. The reverse retains the original attachment points behind the lions, suggesting that the badge was originally worn on a cap or visor before being adapted for civilian use.

Through years of research and study, I can say with certainty that the objects offered are authentic. I can therefore offer a lifetime guarantee on the item being authentic.
Items that are for sale on this site are for collectors and researchers that love history. We do not want or have any association with any individual, group or political movement that supports racism or discrimination in any form.
