A Stormdolk M1917 manufactured by Staatsbedrijf der Artillerie-Inrichtingen Hembrug between 1917 and 1918. This M1917 storm dagger was issued to the Dutch Armed Forces from 1917 until 1940, designed as a trench knife for close combat.
The dagger is clearly marked with official acceptance stamps and bears the serial number 3534C. The scabbard is stamped “C.W.”, indicating Centrale Werkplaats (Central Workshop), and carries the serial number 7497A.
The leather on the scabbard remains in good condition, and the blade retains most of its original blueing. There are no repairs or damage.
A fine and authentic piece of Dutch military history.
