Made by Staatsbedrijf Artillerie-Inrichtingen Hembrug, the bayonet is clearly marked “Hembrug,” “CW” (Centrale Werkplaats), “Z,” along with its serial numbers. The bayonet itself is numbered 7490KK, while the scabbard bears the number 8890. Additional, less distinct markings are also present on the scabbard.
This was manufactured by Hembrug for the Geweer M.95, also known as the Mannlicher M95. It was issued to the Dutch armed forces between 1895 and 1940. It remains in good condition, displaying an attractive dark patina.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved M95 bayonet in good condition, with no damage.
