A stunning M8A1 Bayonet made by the firm Hörster, Solingen. Marked on the crossguard with the H logo. Used by the Dutch soldiers as standard issue bayonet for the M1 Carbine in the early 1950's. This is the first model of the M8A1 that can be recognized by the brass rivets on the grip. Most were send back to the armory to have the rivets replaced by ones that were stronger and were able to be disassembled. This still has the brass rivets that beautifully match with the scabbard brass.
