A Dutch M27 helmet marked "28A" on the inside of the shell near the crown, indicating it was among the earlier examples produced in 1928 by Artillerie Inrichtingen in Zaandam. The leather liner is marked CM 1929 (Centraal Magazijn) and features the label "6V33 232" on the inside of the felt. An additional marking, "214", is stamped on one of the leather liner flaps.
This helmet is featured in the book, De Nederlandse Stalen Helm 1916–1992 on page 79. A textbook example of the Dutch M27 helmet, preserved in good condition with no repairs or damage.
