A Dutch M16C helmet produced by the Artillerie Inrichtingen in Zaandam. The helmet retains its original paint and interior, including a wash label sewn onto the felt behind the leather liner pads.

The label bears the inscription "3-11 G.T. 611" Such labels often contain identifying information such as a soldier's date of birth, service number, and/or regimental designation. Labels of this type are relatively uncommon on Dutch M16 helmets and suggest that this example saw use during the Dutch mobilisation period. Similar labels are more frequently encountered on later Dutch helmet models, such as the M27, M33 and M38, as these were issued to individual soldiers.

The helmet's condition is best seen in the provided pictures. It is partially missing its chinstrap and displays dents, minor damage, and wear consistent with the overall look of the helmet. The leather liner remains present but is fragile.
