A British A.F.V. Crew helmet made around the 1970s by Amplivox LTD, Wembley, England. Type 2697 Helmgard Assembly.
This type of helmet is one variant that I've never seen before. A version that was produced without any microphone attached. The place where the microphone is usually mounted is plugged off, and the connector is a Type 671 / NATO plug, as seen on RAF aircrew helmets. No indications of it being modified.
A Dan Dare helmet, as the soldiers called it. A unique shape of helmet. In worn condition, with a small part of it spray painted yellow. Marked by a soldier with A59. Overall, in good and complete condition.
